The main aim of The Malaysian
Ghost Research is to share the documentation through
research about the existence of life after death. Our mission is to
share information and/ or to help change the perception of peoples’
narrow view about this mysterious world, through scientific research
methods using a digital camera, video and audio recording.
About Our Research
The Malaysian Ghost Research
is the premier paranormal website online
in Malaysia and our collection of non-dust ghost orbs, ecto,
human shaped apparitional ghost photos, ghost videos and EVPs is the
largest collection online. The collection mostly comes from the solo
investigations by a professional paranormal investigator and ghost researcher, and from our
professional sub-team investigators based in Beluran, Sabah. The
dust orb found on this site is only for comparison purposes.

My
journey in the paranormal and ghost research as
solo.
Basically I have the
ability to see spirits of the dead since young; at
one stage prior to getting involved in this field, I
almost bumped into them daily that made me confused.
Yet, at the same time my confusion had triggered off
a feeling of deep curiosity towards the existence of
spirits especially when I have seen the spirit of my
wife’s mother and her aunt’s spirit prior to their
demise.
Therefore, after the demise of my wife’s
mother, I have begun to see more spirits that
visited me prior to their demise. Hence, on the 12th
Mac, 2004 after a week plus of the demise of my
wife’s mother, I started searching information about
ghosts over the net—and I was very lucky to have
stumbled upon the International Ghost Hunters
Society’s (IGHS) website that gave different views
about ghosts. Since then, I started my paranormal
and ghost research solo and continue my research
based on the guidance of Dr. Dave Oester, the
founder of the IGHS that led me to become an IGHS
member on 9th September 2005.
My site was
associated with the IGHS on 1st December
2005—as I still didn’t have a proper domain name.
At that particular point in time, my research was
still under the domain name of cikguaugustine.net
until I registered with a first domain
paranormal site in Malaysia dedicated to paranormal
and ghost research on 25th October 2007,
whereby I named it Malaysian Ghost Research and
conducted paranormal and ghost research solo. I had enrolled myself
into the IGHS paranormal and ghost research diploma
courses which were diploma in Phase Displacement
Practitioner (PDP), Certified Ghost Researcher (CGR),
Certified Paranormal Investigator (CPI), Certified
Electronic Voice Phenomena Researcher (CVPR),
Certified Instructor (CI), Certified Paranormal
Councellor (CPC) where which I completed all the
courses in 2006 and 2007, as well as become
Certified Reiki Master for my personal spiritual
enhancement in 2008.
Therefore, those
basic courses not only had given me the scientific
view about paranormal and ghost research, but they
had become my paranormal and ghost research
foundation into this field At the
beginning of my paranormal and ghost research, I
conducted paranormal investigation and ghost
research mostly at cemeteries, historical sites,
school grounds, abandoned houses and in the jungle.
Nonetheless, my
research discovered ghosts to be everywhere and
anywhere—and they can present themselves anytime
and at any moment. Therefore, these days
I conduct my research anywhere and anytime according
to my will, whereby my research covers mainly
paranormal events related to ghost activity—besides understanding better the existence of ghosts
and the afterlife phenomena.
My vision is to
provide information and to share my research
findings with those interested in knowing more about
ghosts, because most of us tend to think that our
friends or even ourselves should be avoided after we
pass away, since we no longer exist. But, being a
spirit is a new chapter to a new life. I always
believe that the scientific methods of ghost
research through camcorder, digital camera, film or
even an audio recording can help us to understand
ghosts better and how to handle our daily lives when
we bump into them.
