Lens Flare Orbs Generated By the Lens Flare of a Digital Camera

These lens flare orbs are good examples of ghostly images that are related to lens flares. The first photo was captured using the Canon EOS350D, while the last photo was captured using the Sony DSC-W200. These events are caused by direct sunlight hitting the camera lens and refracting inside them. For those wishing to know more about what causes lens flares, check out Lens Flare. These examples are for reference to differentiate between a ghost orb and a lens flare orb. It is noticeable that the lens flare orb too has its prominent demarcated outer ring, suggesting that it is not orb-generated from ghost energy.
